it worked

When my cannabis habit peaked at 8-9-10 times a day it turbo charged my depression(which I thought was being controlled/masked by smoking weed). Instead it eventually ended up putting me in a psychiatric lock down ward after a suicide attempt. So, it was cold turkey for me and after my release led me back to AA where I had previously managed to arrest my alcoholism decades earlier. I thought weed was an innocuous substitute but the addictive cycle kicked in over time and I found I couldn't go an hour without getting high.
