Every few days a large flock of Rainbow Lorikeet shows up and hangs around my aviary. I’ve got two lorikeets inside, and they seem fine—no obvious stress, still eating, acting normal—but I’m not totally sure what they’re actually thinking about the visits.

Part of me thinks it’s enrichment since they’re seeing and hearing their own kind. But I’m also wondering if it could be a bit overwhelming or territorial for them, especially when the flock gets noisy.

I was considering putting some nectar outside the aviary to encourage the wild flock to visit more often, but I’m unsure if that’s a good idea or if it could end up stressing my birds out or causing issues.

Has anyone dealt with something similar?

Would encouraging the flock be a positive thing, or better to just leave it as is?

Could this work in real life? I understand that the scoop acts as an air brake but I don't know how to fix it.
