Phone interview with Elmsford UFSD

Hi all! I just got invited to a virtual interview with Elmsford UFSD, I honestly didn't think I'd hear back from any Westchester schools but honestly, I'm ready to leave NYC. I have 7 years of experience between DOE and charter schools which means I've worked with many curricula and have worked with students that have many different needs and my certifications are in SWD and Gen Ed Childhood (grades 1-6). I am so excited for this opportunity but I wanted to know if anyone can tell me more about what it's like to work in a smaller district and any tips on how to land a demo lesson/in person interview and get the job! I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I’m currently in my 7th year as an elementary teacher, I have a Masters degree and certified in Gen Ed and SPED. I currently work at a charter school in the Bronx but I am looking to move to Yonkers Public Schools. Right now, I’m making 97k. How much of a salary decrease (or increase) would I get working at YPS? I tried searching but cannot find a salary schedule online. Just see the NYC DOE’s schedule.
