Stucco Replacement Advice

Hi all! Under offer on a home with stucco which is fairly rare in my area. We are expecting some significant stucco repairs and frankly, complete replacement?!?!? We want to know if that is feasible, is that a 10K project or a 100K project? We are having a stucco contractor head out but have no idea what to expect as this is our first stucco experience. Home is 100 years old. Happy to add more info! Thank you!

Any tile roof folks out there…

Would love some idea of cleaning, replacing some tiles and anything else I need to be thinking of for this…supposedly has 15 years of life left potentially?

Might be joining you all......

Partner and I under offer on 1924 home. She needs some TLC and the project list is long. Right now, there is a reverse mortgage on the property so still some unknowns on price and we need the price to go down based on the inspection. We like old homes, we like projects.

Mostly we want to know if we are crazy to under take this project? Some things about us: no kids ever, both love a project, he is very handy and loves to learn, I am very helpful at logistics and planning. We love the feel of the home, the location, etc. We would plan to live there for likely an extended period (possibly forever?).

This is the project list at this moment and we have bids in for most things:

Windows x 8 (not just new windows but likely new headers, flashing, and sills) to fix moisture

Crawl Space (some moisture, a do-able crack, ventilation, needs to be dug deeper to actually access fully) but the Basement portion of the foundation is solid! We expect $$$$$$. Two bids on Tuesday.

Electric (Knob and Tube baby! 20K bid)

Plumbing (Galvanized now so not a huge priority 15K bid)

Chimney x 2 (Work on both to shore up leakage and minor repairs, 4K bid)

Garage is a loss. Would need to be torn down and future rebuilt. Right now it's standing. EXPENSIVE.

HVAC (decent ish, needs service and need new AC unit eventually, duct cleaning, 5K estimate)

Tile Roof (Broken tiles, cleaning, haven't gotten a bid, roof has 10-20 years of life left)

Stucco (Obviously needs to be done after windows and foundation) Who the hell knows the price!

Actual Updates (The house is all vibing in the 1970's aesthetically, obviously these are a lot of DIY stuff over time.

We would welcome any and all advice, anyone talking us in or out. It is going to come down a bit to price given the work that needs to be done. Thank you!
