I’m a first time VPR watcher and I started season 7 today - got to the scene where James rapped about Jax and Faith for no reason. I don’t find any particular person likable but I do have to say that I am absolutely astonished by James’ ability to evade Jax’s attempts to hold him accountable. Jax comes up to him soooo mad about him making Brittany cry and James literally just reminds him that Jax cheated and that he’s a shitty person, without mentioning it explicitly, until Jax storms off.

It’s a masterclass in dodging responsibility for your actions.

The only person who may be better at that than him is Jax but for me, that moment really proves that James and Jax are two sides of the same coin
