I am receiving piles of packages under someone else name under my new address
The past days i have been receiving package after package after package. The first time it was around 6 packages that weighed a TON. Next day a couple arrives knocking on my door passive aggressive asking for the packages. I’m of course not opening my door to strangers so i say come tomorrow to the office i’ll drop them off there. The office tells them it’s a ONE TIME COURTESY. Next day i receive 2 more packages. No one comes by. I contact amazon begging them to stop this and they say it’ll stop and to keep or donate the packages. Today ANOTHER PACKAGE. A solo man different from the couple with weed knocks on my door while i’m showering and my mother says she believes he called out my name and she saw him put his ear on my door. I don’t know what to do and i can’t leave piles of packages outside my door step because someone can trip down the stairs and who will get sued? Me. And neither do i want piles of packages at my door and some strangers using my apartment address. I can’t even order my amazon packages in fear they snatch them up. Will the police do something or will they tell me nothing can be done like usual? What should i do?
