Hi everyone I've been playing acoustic for 6 months now, and I have a few questions...

1. Why are electric guitar strings so much lighter and looser....

2. Can I use electric guitar strings on my accoustic guitar and get similar benefits?? (Easy slides, bends etc.)

3. Does changing the strings frequently cause any harm to the guitar? (I wanna try light gauge and electric strings)

4. Do I need to get my guitar strings changed at the shop or is it safe enough to do at home?
