Hey, new here and honestly a bit lost with the whole Ashoka application process. I was planning on applying for Econ (major) with History/Public Policy as a minor in r4 and I've heard that it's the most competitive round and after having heard of the profiles of people who got in, I was wondering if I should work on essays or not. Also I'm a gap year student since I was preparing for other exams as well, so do lemme know if that's a disadvantage

Profile:
- 90+ in both 10th and 12th (CBSE)
- State-level debater for 3 years
- WSC Regional Best Collaborative Paper, Regional Writing Champion, Global Asimov
- VP of Student Council + Editor-in-Chief of school magazine 2 years

- Did 6 MUNs (runner-up at 2 of them)
- Worked with an NGO for 5+ years
- Did an internship

Any honest opinion would be great!
