Years ago, I had a boyfriend. He was my second boyfriend that I ever had. We met at a summer camp when I was 14 and he was 15. We spoke on skype a lot because that was the app that was trying to be popular at the time.

He was the first person to ever ask to send me nudes. He did the whole “go to the bathroom” song and dance and I went right along with it. Later on, we broke up, and then the app Kik became popular. It was nice, to talk to friends and stuff and meet new people, but then, someone spoke a lot like my old boyfriend. He asked for nudes, but he asked my age. I lied. A lot. He asked to meet up, and I blocked him, because although I had unrestricted internet access, my parents were strict about who I met IRL.

This happened several times. It also spiraled into anonymous chat apps to role play sexual scenarios. It stopped by the time I was 17, because I finally got into a relationship with someone who liked me instead of my body. I’m still with him to this day, and I’m currently 25, about to turn 26.

The truth of the matter is that online grooming hurts just as much. I’m mortified by the idea that some men out there have pictures of my 14 year old body. I unfortunately am hypersexual as well, and I feel guilty sometimes for wanting so much, but my boyfriend is still so patient with me.

I feel gross about myself every day. I wish I had spoken to someone about how hurt I was back then instead of seeking approval from other older men.

Okay so I was playing online the other day, and someone of a lower HR/MR asked me for help on some master rank hunts. But like, this player was single digits on both HR and MR, and they had on base level Kamura armor, like the beginning of game armor, and what looked like a Narwha bowgun? (It shot so slow and did so little damage oh my god)

Anyways, he puts up a hunt for Astalos. He carts twice. I managed to pull us through. He then puts up a hunt for Narwha the Allmother, and carts all three times. I suggest he gets better armor, and he leaves immediately. Like he walks over to the courier palico and dips.

I have no idea what that was. A troll? Some kinda prank? A test to see how good I was? Either way I didn’t cart either time. But what even was that???

TLDR: a low MR/HR asked me for help, was a sitting duck, and dipped when I suggested he should better himself. Huh???
