Help guys (English is not my first language) recently a friend i had for +3 years and I started a situationship, in the first date after 1 year of not seeing each other we had dinner, walk for hours and finally make out and went to a hotel, but the thing is that both finished a relationship 1 month before that date (she is and was, a reliable and great friend of my, most like my bsf but we stop talking bc my ex was jealous) ANYWAY after weeks of doing that, last month she told me that she loved me like for 2 years but she know that i was with another girl and ofc i wouldn't feel the same as her.
I told her that recently I really love her company because we have the same intereses and she's so pretty and funny, but sometimes she talks about her ex and she have 5 exes on insta and she is always busy with her college and sports AND IDC but i recently felt like i need to be alone bc we both exit a long relationship and we can't be that ready for a serious dating. I wanted to cut our situationship BUT SHE TEXTED ME THIS MORNING
"We're not officially together right now, but I want you to know that I'm 100% committed to loving you. I've WANTED AND WAITED to be with you for so long, for you to see me as more than just a friend, and I finally have it. I would NEVER waste this opportunity, so please don't give up on us."
I FEEL SO BAD, I just wanted to cut the situationship but she want it to be formal eventualy, HOW CAN I CUT THIS WITHOUT HURTING HER, I WANT TO BE ALONE AND SINGLE
