Waiting all day for my shipment that says its coming 12-1. Then it changes to end of day. Then it changes to delivery exception, address incorrect. Yeah sure. This exact scenario happened to me before, so I know their game. We live at the extreme farthest end of the route, so the driver just heads back home. I know this because the last time it happened, he came the next day claiming he couldn't find the address the day before, and was thinking of turning around again that day. Why? You were right at the gate with the address clearly marked on it. Google maps shows the location as well.
So I call the Indian hotline to find out what is going on. They want me to verify address, which I do, then they say, "Ok we will reschedule it for tomorrow, anything else I can help you with?
I say, "well wait a minute. Your driver claims he can't find the place. If that's true why aren't you asking me for directions? You just asked for the same address that is on the label?"
The answer was something like, "Well THIS driver had issues, you will probably get a new driver tomorrow." Huh? So they apparently have drivers that can use gps maps only on follow-up deliveries? I love being lied to as a customer. I guess our current administration has set the tone, just deny, lie, whatever it takes. Shameful. I miss the good ole days when you could select your carrier. Bring that back.
