I have a major problem with my OSAP funding. I have a previous OSAP from my previous programs. Last October I enrolled to a new program and applied for new Osap my previous was still less than a year was still in grace period when I enrolled to my new program. When my osap was approved in January I filed for a consumer proposal I ask my LIT to not include my previous OSAP but he told me that I have to, I ask him if it will not affect my current OSAP funding because I was in study and in a two year program he said that I should be okay so I proceeded to file CP. Now OSAP put a restriction on me and ask for a letter from my LIT, the problem is OSAP was listed as a creditor now my trustee doesn’t know how to help me with it which is stressing me out because he told me that I will be okay if he only told before theb I didn’t file for CP. I will likely be denied any more funding and Im midpoint my class and Im only relying for Osap to the tuition and now they restricted me. What I was thinking is to withdraw my current proposal and write to OSAP that my CP is officially withdrawn and no active bankruptcy and related event and they accept it? And refile when I resolve this problem with them. Do you think it’s a good idea to withdraw?

I am really stressed out right now. My problem was about OSAP and CONSUMER PROPOSAL. So I have a previous OSAP loan from my previous program and right after finishing that program I enrolled again to a new school new program and while in study I filed for a consumer proposal and I ask my trustee to not include my previous OSAP as a creditor but he said that he have to legally include all my debts because it is on my credit report now after I got approved for the OSAP and got the first payment we finalized and submitted the proposal to the superintendent but now when it’s time for the second payment the school already confirmed my enrollment and the funds are ready for release Osap notified me that my Osap application cannot be processed further and are restricted for funding and any remaining funds cannot be released. They gave me an opportunity to submit a letter from my LIT confirming that OSAP is not included and that current/future funding will not be seized or used to pay the creditors on my CP and they also need letter from school confirming that I am in full time study when I filed CP. the biggest problem here now is OSAP is listed as creditor because my LIT doesn’t want to leave it even I explicitly told him not to include it he said it’s for transparency and I even ask him if it will not affect my current osap fundi and he said I should be okay. But now I have biggest problem ever, if OSAP still denies those letters that means I have to pay the remaining tuition and the first payment osap gave me if I ever decided to continue or withdraw I would just ended up in a big debt that before. This is so stressful
