​It seems like I often come across obstacles I have no idea how to overcome in this game. 5 armies in my land at turn 29 as a new player feels like checkmate. Am I expected to survive this? What steps can I take in the future to prevent this?

Maybe my trade agreement with the ogremen is influencing this excess aggro

I took several settlements but they were immediately taken back by the enemies . So I prioritized protecting my initial province . Advice on how to prevent my buildingsform immediately being re captured by the greater numbers you see on the screen would be great. Maybe it’s been awhile since some of you have been new but most of the battle for me is figuring out how to maintain progress.
