Apologies if this is the wrong place. There was a litter of kittens born last night at the cat volunteer station near harmony beach, it would appear someone has kindly taken the kittens to make sure they’re fine but perhaps didn’t know about the mama cat. If you’re the one with them, I can point out to you which cat gave birth so they can get their milk from mama if possible! I’m just a tourist so only here until Friday but please reach out if you are looking for the mama cat.

Hi there, I’m in Scotland, apologies if this is a common Q.

I applied for Scottish Carer Support Payment 29/01, to be effective from that date, as I was made redundant as of 28/01. I’m confident I’m eligible from that date.

So far, the person I care for has received an email (shortly after applying) and then a letter (a couple of weeks later) both just formally notifying her I applied. Since then, nothing. I called them up and they said my application hadn’t even been looked at yet and there was nothing they could do to help, there’s not even an advisor assigned.

I’ve got a new job starting 08/06, where I’ll no longer be eligible for the benefit, or the UC w/carer element I receive.

My questions are - does anyone have an idea of how many weeks the current backlog sits at (I know this is likely due to the switched policies recently) and if this wait time extends into when I’m again employed, how do I handle notifying them?
