What is it like working in China as an office employee, specifically?
Some years ago, I worked in Singapore as an office employee. Working overtime was the norm and leaving on time would have colleagues raise their eyebrows at you when you leave. The expectation was going the extra mile and 24/7 availability. I'm not sure if it's still like that now but I'm curious about China and if it's the same.
