I want to buy a Ninja 500 and I am scheduled to take my courses next month. Is it weird if I ask my local Facebook group for someone to let me backpack for one ride to see how it feels to ride on the bike? I know it will feel different riding vs driving etc. I haven’t been on one in over 10 years (previous backpack) and I don’t have a lot of friends where I live, none in the biker community at least. Please let me know your thoughts, I just want to know what it’s like to be on the bike again before I go back to class and buy one.

TLDR; I want to ask local group if someone can give me a single ride before I buy.

I’ve been trying to find the documentary that started it all. Does anyone know where I can find it? Really want to watch it again.
