This is very much a work in progress- especially the little "wtf" stretch right before the solo starts. And the solo itself was just a first take improv scratch track. So please dont judge the whole track based on that. (I intentionally faded this halfway through since its not done)

I feel like the chugga chugga is lacking. With its current EQ and mix its a little muddy? It lacks juuust a tiny bit of punch. I had a little more high end in it the other day and that was too throaty. I feel like its ALMOST there but not quite.

Yes, it's absolutely meant to have super retro 80s vibes. My goal is for it to sound like Jan Hammer and John Carpenter joined up with Metallica, so thats very intentional.

Fresh ears would be really appreciated. More mids? Lower in the mix? More panning? Im much happier with the chug at the 1:50 mark but during that first bit when it kicks in....I dunno.
