Luffy and Rogers Dream
I have just rewatched the Episode in which Yamato talks to Ace and he Tells her the story of Luffy‘s Dream.
To which we saw one of Roger’s Crew Members saying that’s a childish dream. But at the same time we know it’s the same dream as Luffy has. Which implies it would be childish in nature generally. I don’t believe that the dream is so big that it’s childish but rather the the idea itself would be based on what children come up with.
And I believe the dream is to create a treasure hunt. That was after all what Roger did. He set in motion the biggest treasure hunt there ever was with clues left along the world.
I believe Luffy wants to accomplish something similar. Or the Same treasure hunt by hiding the One Piece again. So someone else will go seek it.
That’s also why Ace and Sabo laughed. To set the whole world in motion for a treasure hunt so big that it would move the entire world is a childish dream.
