Hey everyone, so I'm a pretty big dude (330lbs) and I'm looking at getting my first bike for exercising and losing some weight.

I've done some research and I'm mostly looking at steel frames but I also want a more upright riding position because I do tend to have back issues from time to time.

From a lot of research I'm trying to pick between a few different bikes listed below. I'm definitely wanting to keep it below 2k but honestly best reliability for the money is king since I know I'll put more stress on the components than most people.

I'm also looking to do light trails and just roads around my place when I can't make it to a trail until the weekend.

Surly Ogre $1800 or $1900 (Local shop has one in plum for $1700)

Surly Bridge Club Highest price on website $1600 (Price ranges on the website)

Primo Dame $1000 (budget friendly and reviews had a lot of good things to say)

State 4130 $1000 (Budget again)

Giant Revolt 2 $1400 and $1500 on website.

Marin Four Corners 2 (Really nice bike and the shop near me has it on sale for $1800)

Any help is appreciated.
