Posted earlier about my mom passing and sending me shells. A few days after her funeral I found these on the beach near her home. Growing up my family consisted of 3. Mom and two kids. Western Cape, South Africa.
After I lost my mom I went to the beach near her cottage and was shelling alone with nobody else on that beach. Talking to my mom and crying in between, I found this on top of a bigger rock. I couldn't believe my eyes and I knew she left it there for me. She was with me for sure. I left most but did take the abalone with whatever shells were on it. I miss my mom.
