Throwback to my horror haircut 🥲
In December 2020 I was in need of a big change and unfortunately decided chopping off all my hair would do..
I went to a new salon since I had just moved. Not knowing how my hair would look shorter I told the lady to do what she’d think would look best! She decided to cut (pretty interesting) layers since I told her my hair tends to have a bit of a curl in my shorter front pieces whenever they’re wet. She told me she’d let me leave with my hair wet so it would dry in a nice curl.. well… it did not 🥲
I regretted it immediately. Looking back I’m even surprised she took those photos seeing how bad it already looked in the salon.
I’ve been working on growing my hair back ever since. I’ve had some bigger trims in between so it wasn’t the fastest way, but I’m really happy with where I am at now! Unfortunately it’s not as thick as it used to be due to pcos emerging after I stopped taking birth control, but either way I’m so glad I have my length back 🥹🥹
