I have a call in for an issue with my home phone. They are supposed to call me back when an agent is available. At the very first ring, I could see they had already left a voice mail as the phone started to ring, that they weren't able to detect a response.

I am pretty sure they were not planning to talk to me, as the message that I missed my call was there in text simultaneously with the first ring. Is this some kind of new annoyance, or did my phone glitch and only ring at the end?
