I have a Poulan / Weed Eater WM5N21SB Weed Eater 5.0 horsepower Braggs and Stratton Lawn mower. Engine Model 123K02

I tried to replace the pull string assembly and that didn't help. The engine oil level is good. The brake cable seems fine. There's nothing stuck to the blade underneath. When I remove the spark plug the pull cord moves freely. I pulled the cord several times, with the spark plug off, to see if that would help and it didn't. When you pull the cord it pulls a little bit but then locks up when you get half way into pulling it.

Any other suggestions?
