3 euploids, all failed and I’m being told it’s age related.

I’m over 40 and it took 7retrievals to make 3 euploid embryos. The magic number, right? We transferred all of them and none worked—no implantation.

Everything looked “perfect” each time and the 5/6 day embryos all had very good grades. Tested everything first, even the biome. Did very conservative protocols. We were extra careful because we only had 3.

I know it’s statically possible for this to happen but this has been hard to make sense of.

I was always told once you have a euploid, age doesn’t really matter and odds are very good. My doctor is now saying that euploids from older eggs may still have lower implantation potential due to lower cellular energy and/or quality beyond chromosomes.

This is the first time I’ve heard this after multiple clinics.

Has anyone else been told this? Is there actually evidence behind it? I’m pretty jaded at this point and this feels like a new way to blame a woman’s body instead of taking accountability for the limitations of the doctors/labs/science.
