Hi!
I got a new piercing yesterday everything was totally fine before I went to bed. It doesn't hurt but it seems very fussy today. Every time I flare my nostrils (allergies) it bleeds. I've washed it twice already today with saline, and tried to rinse off the old dried blood in the shower and this is immediately after.
I read somewhere on here to leave it and get some non woven gauze to soak in saline for 5-10mn and then pat it dry. that won't come until tomorrow. I'll probably spray it with h saline one more time tonight before I go to bed
I guess I'm wondering if this sort of bubble bleeding is normal? I just don't want to do anything to get an infection or ruin it. Should I let it clot/let the dried blood sit? How long does this part of the healing process take place? Any other advice moving forward?
Thanks for any advice! I haven't had a piercing for over 10 years so I just want to do it right.
