Why do narcissists accuse others of doing exactly what they are doing? That is projecting, or no? Do they think they're really the victim when they're so obviously the persecutor and abuser? or do they just want others to think that?

I was looking for something another user asked in an unrelated post . Inthe midst of my research, I found this quote, and I found it to be interesting enough to post here lol
"Trey gave Charlotte a baby rattle as a sentimental gift, which is part of their attempts to navigate their struggles with fertility. This moment contrasts sharply with the infamous scene where he later gives her a "cardboard baby," highlighting their challenges in starting a family."
Totally random but, This show is just so genius in so many ways.
I love all of them, but I relate to Charlotte the most when it comes to her being a romantic person, and her love of art. However I'm not as high maintenance and I def have more of a sense of humor like Samantha. My favorite character is Samantha, even tho her sense of humor and non judgemental style is the only things about her I personally relate to. I think her and I could be BFF lol. What about you guys?
