Hii, what does ''counterphobic'' mean?

I was reading again on Naranjo's subtype descriptions, and I realised that the word ''counterphobic'' appears A LOT, but the thing is, i've never really quite understood what it meant. I always thought a counterphobic person goes against their fears, for example? If anyone could elaborate and dumb it down' that'd be great, thanks!!
