FWB blocked me
I (23F) met him (26M) off of Tinder a few weeks ago. He’s active duty and often stays at hotels. He invited me over, we talked for hours, then hooked up a few times. A few days later, we do the same thing. Over the last few weeks, we’ve linked about four times. Last weekend on Saturday, he invited me over again. Told me that he’d let me know when to head that way. Then I didn’t hear from him until Monday. On Monday, he apologized and said “let’s do it tomorrow” - he then cancelled, due to being called on a flight. He landed around 12am last night and asked me to still come over. I said no, and he suggested tonight instead. I said sure, and went to bed.
I woke up this morning, only to find that he had unadded me on Tinder and blocked me on Snapchat. Completely ghosted.
We vibed very very well. Got along like friends that have known each other for a while. The sex was intense and great, sometimes a little too passionate for what we were. He dropped comments occasionally, suggesting wanting more than something casual - but we were both on the same page of wanting to continue being casual.
I’m honestly really blindsided and quite disappointed - just speculating, but if you men were in his shoes, what could possibly be a motive for doing that?
Should I expect that he’s going to unblock me at some point? I know that when I block someone, it’s usually final - but that’s female perspective there.
