Hi all!

New TK player here, with only ~15 games under my belt. I like playing mortuary cult and really enjoy the Necromancy + Casket of souls style, with the Lowering LD strategy.

The core of my lists uses to be:

- Necro Hierophant

- Block of skellies (30-50)

- Casket of souls

- Stonethrower

- Horse archers

- Shooting ushabtis

- Necrosphinx

When playing against better opponents, I find a problem with hiding my casket of souls properly, mainly versus:

- War machines (mainly cannons but also catapults)

- Fast flying beasts (aka Pegasus/characters with dragon)

I was thinking on using my horse archers to block line of sight to my casket, and in my turn move them, do casket things and reserve-move archers again to block vision. What do you think about this? This could save some turns of enemy having to shoot horses, and would only be afraid of catapults. How do you handle war machines that can kill your casket of souls round 1?

On the other hand, my lists are pretty defensive: shooting ushabtis + casket do lot of dmg long range and once the enemy approaches I ping them with skellies and use my necrosphinx to help. The problem comes with flying units that can go into my casket/hierophant easyly if do not create a core of units together to not let space, and they will always choose their charges... which strategies do you use to avoid that?

Finally, as a bonus question, where do you use to deploy you casket of souls? Do you like it centered or in a flank? Centered seems better, but need more units to defend it to not being surrounded... And in the front or in the back? When in front can have better line of sight, maybe back is safier? In a hill can be easy targeted? Please write your tips :P

Thanks a lot and glory to Settra!
