how does dark brown fade?
used garnier good 6.6 pomegranate red for 2 years and got sick of the maintenance (faded super fast and ended up an auburn colour) so have been trying to grow it out, ive got around a year of outgrowth but has been a lot slower than I hoped!
to cover up the brassy orange that's left I've been using a dark brown/red shade in semi permanent to avoid having to grow out another harsh line like I currently am but the colour washes out in about 4 washes
I was thinking of dyeing a dark brown permanent dye over the top, similar to my semipermanent, but I'm not sure if this would fade orange similarly to what is already under the semi permanent on my hair? I would like to avoid that as much as possible as growing out the harsh line of colour change has been a bit of a pain. any recommendations or advice are super appreciated!
