Blocked out of nowhere
Okay so this is a very long winded story but bear with. I matched with this guy on hinge back in July 2025, we had been talking for a while. At first I wasn’t interested, which I told him as I didn’t want to waste his time, we stopped talking then eventually did talk again. I actually planned to meet him, we have like a three hour distance and decided to meet halfway to make it easier for each other. A week before the date he started replying more slowly and eventually it got to the point where I was like what’s up. He said (we both come from religious backgrounds) that he’s been feeling a lot of religious guilt and had a nightmare about it and basically said he didn’t want to see me to compromise his faith. I was like fair enough and we cancelled but we still stayed in contact through socials, especially sending tiktoks to each other. His replies got slow and at one point we stopped talking again it resumed bc he posted a spoiler for a show we both watch and as a joke I was like you have to make it up to me. And he was like sure and told me to send him a link of what I wanted so I did and he knows my address and he actually bought it and showed me the order confirmation. Anyway later on I get a message from him showing me it’s been dispatched and he starts to reply to my messages hellllaaa quick like went from hours between to seconds. He starts telling me how he’d like to see me again and when I was like I’m a bit confused, he was like he never stopped being attracted to me but he stopped voicing it. I was like you keep messing me about and he apologised a lot and then I was like I could potentially see you in a few weeks. He then starts saying stuff how I’m prettier than his exes (weird thing to say) and starts talking about the stuff we could do when we see each other. Oh before this he was like he’s generally quite up front with his communication but I hadn’t really experienced that from him. He also asks me about my upcoming plans for my birthday, saying how he hopes I have a lovely time and to consider the gift as a bday gift too. Anyway the convo gets a bit spicy (it has before) and he initiated it bla bla. Anyway I message him saying I’m going to sleep and he doesn’t respond. I wake up 5am, still on delivered. 6am still on delivered but at 7am I wake up and I am blocked on everything, including his work account. I called him and blocked. I am genuinely so confused???? Like why apologise, ask me out, be all spicy then block me????? I’m racking my brain to see if I did anything wrong. He told me ages ago if he had a gf he’d remove me off everything but the why ask me out less than 12 hours before blocking me??? I also accidentally followed his friend on ig but immediately unfollowed like within seconds when I realised. Then earlier I saw he unblocked me on TikTok the blocked me again. I genuinely have no idea what has happened? Maybe I’ve been really annoying? Maybe there’s another girl? No idea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
