Hello! I am looking fir some insight. My ex is a heavy Marijuana ans moderate alcohol addict. I want sole physical custody of my child because he is on substances 24/7 and is very violent when he is kept from his substances for any reason. My child would not be safe or happy in his custody. Im open to supervised visitation only.
My question is how do I prove this and get the agreement I am looking for in court? He claims any lawyer or judge would "Laughs in my face" because both Marijuana and alcohol are legal and he has no OVI violations and has never been arrested.
I know the best way to be in a custody battle is calm and im totally able to do this. Just want to know what I need to do in order to guarantee he will only be granted supervised visitation?
