Could this be a brown recluse

Found in an apartment in Evansvill, Indiana. I have my doubts but this is my sister and her boyfriends apartment and they think it's a brown recluse

Something I've noticed as a constant in my life is that whether I live by myself or not, I tend to spend most of my time only in one room; my bedroom. I don't know if it's because of safety, or simplicity, or even a symptom of BPD at all. Does anyone else experience this?
