Hello everyone. I'm 18 and was diagnosed with Crohn's about a month ago in my terminal ileum.

I will be getting about 20cm of that area removed next week, with a laparoscopic resection, and I wondered if anyone has any specific tips to make the whole thing more bearable? Anything specific I should bring to the hospital or things I should keep in mind during recovery?

Also what was the recovery time like? My Highschool graduation is exactly 2 weeks after the surgery, how likely is it i'll be able to attend?

Feeling kinda shit about the whole thing but just grateful to have good doctors.
