Hey everyone,

I have 3+ YOE in SAP Embedded Analytics (CDS, S/4HANA) at a Big4, with some exposure to SAC and Datasphere.

Work mainly involves CDS modeling, performance tuning, and reporting.

Lately I’ve been wondering about the long-term future of this path. SAP analytics feels stable and pays well, but sometimes feels niche compared to broader data engineering / AI roles.

For people senior in this space:

- How has growth been for you?

- Is Embedded Analytics still a strong long-term path?

- Did anyone pivot into Datasphere, AI, or data engineering from here or something else other than SAP?

I’m also interested in roles with onsite opportunities in the future.
