stent string help
tagged nsfw because i’ll be complaining about recent experiences with my kidney stone! please remove if not allowed, i honestly don’t post on reddit much so choosing subreddits is tricky sometimes.
i’ve had a stent in since this past thursday after they broke up my kidney stone. they have it attached to a string, which is relatively long and “taped” to my front with tegaderm. the problem lies with this string; no matter how i try and reposition it, it digs into my labia minora. they are so swollen and itchy beyond all hell. i think they are cut up from it too, maybe. has anyone else had this issue? does anyone have any tips? i’m waiting on a post-op appointment, as i had to schedule in my home town rather than take the appointment four hours away back near campus where this all started, so simply removing the stent isn’t an option for me.
