Been trying to get this bastardized YJ to run. The power distribution center is a mess, as mentioned in my last post, but I’m trying to trace down all the issues before rewiring.

So far I have replaced the fuel pump relay, installed a new camshaft crankshaft position sensor, and installed a new fuel pump.

On the fuel pump relay I can jump power from 87a and power the fuel pump on, but under no scenario can I get power through pin 87. If I leave the power coming through pin 87 to feed the pump while trying to crank it, it won’t start. I pulled the plug wires and I don’t have any spark to them.

I have checked pin 3 on the ECM and it does have 12v, but it has it with key on and key off (not sure if that’s a problem)

What should I check next?

Thanks

Edited: I replaced the crankshaft position sensor, not the camshaft

Has anyone replaced the power distribution center with something aftermarket? I’ve seen the video on YouTube about how to rewire one. I’ve got several wiring issues on a YJ I just purchased and since you can get a new one of these I was wondering if there was an alternative. If anyone had made one from aftermarket parts and has the wiring diagram that would be much appreciated.

Right now it has connectors falling out the bottom, relays will barely stay in, case is broken, and I’m pretty sure there’s a broken wire in the fuel pump wiring because I can wiggle the whole unit around and get intermittent power to the fuel pump.

Any help appreciated.
