I would say not even a month ago, this would've been 4 stops. The pickup, and 3 drop-offs. Between doing this in Phoenix and now the Detroit suburbs, I've never seen more than 4 stops.
Well the last month or so this has been the norm. 12 stops, 27 bucks? And out of 11 households that's what the tips added up too? No mention of milage. Just some exorbitant time with like an 6 hour window. Now is it just me? But gas is up almost a dollar, and so is the overall cost of living. And Uber decides to reduce earnings, and add literally 8 more stops. Also I know this map. We're looking at about 60 miles total.
How the hell is this right???? Like who is taking taking these orders to make Uber even think they can dispatch this? I thought there was some type of government law about milage and cost. From my research it's only California ( Prop 22), New York, Minnesota, and Washington State.
Example Minnesota, it's law that drivers receive minimum $1.28 per mile. Same in New York. But because we're "independent" contractors and not employees, there's no regulation.
Last of my rant, it's fascinating that people don't realize we are indentured servents to corporations that aren't even given livable wages. And this isn't a debate on education or class. It is classic corporate deception and the balance of wealth.
