Hello! I'm hoping this sub can help a non-techy with a somewhat complicated (for me) work setup. I am a consultant, but in an industry where security requirements are huge, so I often have a laptop for each client during my contract period. I would love to be able to dock them all on a single station where they could remain closed/charging and use something like a KVM switch to move between them using external monitors for my displays.
I'd love to be able to use two external monitors, and connect 4 laptops if possible, but I'd settle for 1 monitor and 2 laptops. I would need at least 2 USB ports - one for keyboard and mouse setup and one for cam. I would love to minimize cable mess if possible. I don't get to choose my laptop so I am often working on both MAC and PC simultaneously.
I'm sure this isn't complex for most people in the know, but I am definitely not that person and hours of googling has left me confused. I'm grateful for any guidance!
