I just bought a new ‘26 MT-09 SP and I love this bike. I’ve noticed something odd with the fuel tank though, manual lists a 3.7 gallon tank, and supposed to have the fuel light come on with ~3/4 gallon of fuel left.

Whenever I hit that point though (fuel light on, range reporting less than 30 miles), it only takes. 1.8-2 gallons of gas to fill. I can see the gas just below the nozzle entry once I’m done so I don’t think it’s just a partial fill situation. I seem to be missing a gallon somewhere.

Anyone know of any issues with level sensors or have experience/ideas on what might be happening? Many thanks for any thoughts!
