A local refuge teeming with wildlife this morning!
Morning light, heron hunting, and goose chasing. I only spent 45 minutes here, and it was perfect.

Went out to a local park that has a delightful birding area. The Lilly pads make the pictures a little noisy, but it's always teeming with wildlife.
All shot with the Z5ii and NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR
Initially, I had some front focus issues. I upgraded the firmware this morning and I have been getting much better results. I took this while working from the back deck today. This robin just popped up with a small twig in its beak and started sizing me up from about 15 feet away.
