I really love leather straps. Usually I order online so guessing how the strap would fit the watch is quite challenging. One thing I never get just right is the thickness of the strap.
How do you choose your strap thickness? Which watches go flat and which padded?
I added a few pictures for comparison, would love to hear your opinion and any guidelines you have regarding strap thickness.
This is my SBGW267, 37mm, manual winding. It's a European market exclusive and I just got some Great straps to elevate this beautiful piece.

Hey watch lovers, I wonder how many of you got the watch bug as strong as I did. I've been buying, selling and trading for the past 5 years. I've definitely made some mistakes but it allowed me to experience a massive variaty of watches and honestly it's been fun.
If I had to choose, my favorite watch is probably the Oris Monnphase but my current favorite brand is definitely Grand Seiko.
My latest acquisitions are the GS Elegance and Tudor 1926, Lately I found myself gravitating towards dressier watches.
