I've been looking for some information on both variants and can't seem to find it. It doesn't seem to be a very popular weapon or isn't thought of very highly.

I was just wondering if both variants heat up and proc the explosion on enemies at the same speed, or does the damage variant heat them up quicker?

I was thinking of using the ammo one if it's the same, as most of the damage comes from the explosion proc I'm guessing. Any information would be appreciated, I can't seem to find any test results on this.
