help with weaning my boob barnacle

My son is 13 mo and I have been considering weaning since he hit a year. I believe it’s affecting TTC baby #2 even though I have regular cycles unfortunately.

I had him down to just naps/night feeds as comfort and it was going amazingly. For some reason as soon as we get to almost cutting the feeding to sleep he wants to nurse so much. He has been completely exclusively nursed since 4 months old and EBF his entire life. He hasn’t taken a bottle since after we got him nursing again and never took a binkie. He does use the munchkin 360 cup for water and doesn’t really like cows milk but enjoys a little almond milk here and there.

Part of me seems guilty for wanting to wean as well. I have loved nursing him, I would keep going but we also want him to have a sibling close in age, we’ve been TTC since my cycles returned at 9 months PP but have had 0 luck.

Today I was finally ready to cut his nap nursing off but for some reason he has been attached to my boobs all damn day. Please help😅

Rescued bunny after dog attack

Edit to add - He went home today! It was pretty iffy at first, I set him in some grass and came back an hour or so later to see if I was okay to let the dog out and he was snuggled up in the same spot and hadn’t moved. I ended up jumping the fence to put him in the burrow since I had seen the mom return earlier that day. I hope little buddy has a great life running free. :)

Hey everyone! hopefully this is allowed here. yesterday I noticed a bunch of crows in a certain spot in my neighbor’s yard come to find out it’s a bunny nest. the crows must have scared off some of the babies and one of them hopped through the chain fence into my yard I was unaware of it, and my dog was outside. I noticed he had a hold of something and ran out to get it. He dropped the bunny and it was injured, but still alive.

i’m super rural so there’s not many rehabs around and the few that there are said they’re only taking raccoons this year. They all gave me advice said to clean his wounds give him dandelion greens a warm place and water, since my description of him sounds like he’s old enough to be away from mom. They said to not be surprised if he doesn’t make it through the night, but he did.

i’m just completely unsure of what to do. I have a soft spot for animals and would’ve felt wrong just leaving him there bleeding with a potentially broken leg. His leg seems fine now though. I’m not sure if my neighbors would let me put him back or if the mom would even take him back since I have touched him. any advice is welcomed and please let me know if I did the wrong thing. I was just trying to help.🥲

Picture of Mr. bunny for tax also his ears are up, but those pictures were taken minutes after he was attacked so he was scared.

Today my sweetheart very timid cat started attacking my dog. It happened today after he slipped outside while I was taking my son out, I didn’t notice at first until I also let my dog out and I saw them laying in the grass together. I brought my cat back inside and continued to play with my son and dog for a bit until we decided to go in. When we went in my cat (we have 4 but the issue is only with this one) puffed up, growled and then ran at him swinging. which is completely unlike him, he’s normally the chillest cat and even snuggles up with max, our dog, from time to time.

Max is still kind of new to our family, we’ve had him for about 7 months but they have all been warmed up to him since around a month after we got him. He’s a very timid boy and respects the cats when they don’t want him in their space. Turtle, the problem child, literally has been cornering him and chasing him while swatting and hissing. All max does is yelp and try to run away from turtle but turtle chases him. I’ve had to break up 3 attacks today and even had to separate them while I was out of the house.

Turtle recently had a checkup at the vet and everything was all good however this makes me worry maybe theres an underlying issue now. Do I take him to the vet again? Has anyone else been through this and the animals worked it out? It’s so stressful especially since I have a 13 month old and the last thing I want is him to get hurt.

also to add, I posted this a few days ago in another sub and got no response. since then, our other cat, kitty (My husband named him, not me) has started tagged teaming the dog with turtle. our dog is very passive and now kind of scared of them. It’s not as bad as it was originally, but they do seem to not like him anymore still. We think it might have something to do with my husband being away for school. Maybe it’s stressing them out we’re not sure.
