Shopper started on my order at 3:15pm. It’s now 5:41 and she still hasn’t checked out. As a lady trucker, I only get a 10 hr break. I have to leave at 12am to make a run from Houston TX to Chicago IL by 8am on Monday. I need to rest and she’s delaying me. Plus my delivery instructions are very specific on how to find my truck, and she hasn’t acknowledged it when I asked her if she got the instructions. She’s doesn’t speak English so I translated everything to Spanish. Still no response. But she did ask about some fruit. Does instacart compensate for things like this??

Update: She just now checked out at 5:52pm. I get the same 28-30 items that I always get. Some of them are duplicates (5 apples or 2 gallons of water) simple products. Most shoppers are in and out within 20-30 minutes.

Update: just for clarity, truckers can legally drive up to 11 hours a day. After 11 hours, it’s mandatory that we take a 10 hr break. Everything is electronically logged, and subject to be checked by DOT police at anytime. I have 5 hrs left on my 10 hr break smh… 11 hr trip tomorrow smh

Update: So she arrived at 6:21pm. She followed instructions and had small talk that she was also a trucker. She was smilles and really nice and her English was perfect. She had no clue of the emotional rollercoaster that I was on. Anyway, I feel bad giving her a bad review. She redeemed herself by following instructions and being really really nice.

*Instacart gave me back the $5 priority fee
