Feel like I struck absolute gold at my local flea

I was really excited when I found 1, then I found 13 more 😂 These are all Vintage Bootleg Pocket Horrors based off the popular Mighty Max series. Although they are very simple, the underwhelming artwork and colors just really pop. It doesn’t hurt that they are also extremely valuable and rare. My wife can’t quite grasp why toys are “worth so much” !

Blowing off some steam and looking for advice here.

I’ve been selling on eBay since 2022, mostly vintage toys. I really enjoy connecting people with items they had growing up, it’s a great feeling when something finds the right home. Over time, my wife and I have also branched into jewelry, sports memorabilia, and vintage military items (we’re both prior service).

We try to price fairly, often even below average sold prices and keep shipping costs as low as possible despite constant increases. Our store usually has around 40–50 listings, and we sell about 10 items a month, mostly Buy It Now.

We’ve always been cautious about international sales due to the higher risk of issues, but recently one of our vintage toys sold through eBay’s international shipping program.

At the time of listing, the toy was fully working—the first photo shows the illuminated mouth and eyes, and the following photos show it powered off. Based on that, I listed it as working.

Fast forward about 30 days: the buyer left negative feedback (just a few days ago). As soon as I saw it, I reached out asking for more details and suggested it might just need new batteries (LR44). It’s now been a few days with no response.

To be clear, the buyer hasn’t asked for a refund, and I’m always open to resolving issues—whether that’s a partial or full refund if something was genuinely misrepresented.

My question is: based on a listing that clearly showed the item working, and with no communication from the buyer, is this something worth contacting eBay about to have the feedback removed?

Appreciate any insight from other sellers
