The Gardeners' Market starts tomorrow (5/9)

Hello all.

One on CV's best events starts up again tomorrow. The Cache Valley Gardeners' Market will be from 9a to 1p every Saturday through mid-October.

Here is the link:

Here is the skinny in bullet points:

* It is held next to the Old Courthouse at the intersection of 200 North and Main Street.

* Tons of free parking. Enter from 100 West. You can also park free across the street next to Logan City Hall.

* The city Route 7 bus does stop next to the Market, but the Saturday schedule is limited to hourly.

* Bathrooms are available in the county offices building.

* Live music is scheduled every week. Usually 10a to noon. It can vary based on the act. The music lineup is on the webpage. CV has a magnificent array of great musical acts. You will enjoy what you hear.

* There are some benches near the music tent to get off your feet. They are under the shade of trees. It is not uncommon for people to bring their own folding chairs to hang out for a time. You can also sit on the Courthouse steps, front and back.

Please show up to socialize and support our local businesses. And stroll through downtown, too. Make a day of it. Cafes, bars, restaurants and other great businesses usually do very well on Market Saturdays. Your $ boosts our economy.

Logan is as good or bad as we make it. The CVGM is one those events that makes our home a wonderful place to live.

See you there!

Hello. Philly guy here. I have a strong sentimental streak for AC, so I follow this sub.

An old college buddy contacted me. His son is doing a summer internship in AC. He asked if his son should take an apartment on Montpelier near Pacific. While I know AC, I usually am down the north end. So I asked a buddy who works in AC daily.

That buddy said that intersection is not good. He would not recommend it to his worst enemy.

That seems hyperbolic.

I was hoping to get some informed opinions from Reddit for those who have their boots on the ground in Atlantic City near there.
