Going Active Duty after joining the guard.
I made a previous post on here asking about the guard. I want to go Active Duty Army and pursue Army Ranger. The thing is I have one 4 year old son, and another baby on the way, due this September. Both are with different women so it makes it hard for sure. I’m still working on joining the NG as of right now. I’ve also been told I need to almost have my kids moms “permission” to join the NG. Not totally sure how it works exactly, and still learning the process. I’ve already gone and taken, my ASVAB and scored an 80. I’m choosing 11B with the hopes of going SF eventually. I’m 28 years old. After I get into the NG can I switch to Active Duty fairly easily? Or can my kids moms stop me? And can they stop me from joining Active Duty Army right now?
