Does anyone know if the 25kw DC charger will be limited by singlephase? What I mean is if I have a 25kw DC charger, will it charge at the full 25kw rate if my battery is empty, i.e. only from the grid? I currently have a 8kw inverter and the batteries charge at a max of 8kw becuase of it. I only have 6.6kw of solar so just wondering if theres a point in going for the 25kw DC charger with my current setup.
Edit: Thanks for the replies. If 25kw isnt possibel, would it make sense to get a seperate 7kw home charger? Would that mean that during off peak/free energy periods, I can top up my home battieries from the grid whiles charging my car (theoretically pulling 8kw to charge batteries + 7kw to charge my car), but have the home charger pull from the battery during peak hours if needed?
