hi! i foster with texas animal society and i have an elderly neighbour that had two abandoned kittens oh his porch. we did not intervene/move them until absolutely necessary. zip code 77388 my rescue can back them but we don’t have any available bottle feeders
however the person i had watching them for two days backed out and i work tomorrow so i have no idea who can care for them. is there anyone who can show me /lead me to any resources that could potentially help me? shelters or rescues that aren’t full??

TW: death
hi yall i have 13 (now twelve) cats from three different litters im fostering right now. they’ve been tested and vaxxed so have been able to hangout. they’re all awesome together no issues. 3 black cats (10weeks old), 5 tabbies approx 7-8weeks old, mom and her 4 kittens (6ish weeks old). the tabbies are named tabby, teddy, tink, tootsie & teeny. the mom has been nursing all the tabbies on top of her own. the first one to nurse was teeny and he would nurse on her soooo much even more than her kittens and she accepted him happily. he was named teeny because as you can see in the video above he was sooo much smaller than the rest of his litter. even smaller than mamas younger kittens. he was gaining weight, eating, using litter box, very playful etc just fine so i wasn’t worried about him.
this morning i woke up and went to go feed everyone breakfast and when i walked in the kitchen i saw teeny on the floor limp, mouth open and agonal breathing. i freaked out and just held him until he stopped fully and told him i loved him. it looked like he had released his bladder and also was drooling for awhile. i texted my rescue and she said sometimes kittens have underlying conditions we don’t know about and it can just happen. but since he was already2 months and im experiencing so much shock im having a hard time believing i didn’t do something wrong.
i feel so bad and i have literally zero idea what happened. my laundry room door was open and i keep wondering if the washer got off center, started shaking and hit him against the wall or he got up somewhere unsafe and jumped and hurt himself. im so sad he was my little teeny bopper. 💔💔💔
i don’t know what im really looking for here. i guess im wondering if anyone has experienced something similar?

I have 4 different litters of fosters right now. This story involves these two litters. 5 tabby’s abandoned in box at gas station(left), and momma with 4 variety kitties (right).

As of about a week ago they all got combo tested and first round of vaccines. Ever since then I’ve been introducing all the litters to each other slowly. (All kitties between 4-9 weeks except momma cleo up there) they have been doing so good!

while i was cleaning around the house i saw cleo was feeding the tabby runt (his name is teeny he’s smaller than her kittens that are younger than him) and i wanted to cry it was so cute!!! continued to clean and go about my business and saw another tabby from the separate litter joined. And then a little while later i’m pretty sure all but one tabby and even some of her babies were all nursing on her!! The only tabby in that pic not nursing on her is her only tabby lol. I know the cat maternal acts are instincts but it’s still so super cute.

Also momma cleo is getting quite a few extra treats for being so sweet and feeding so many babies <3
